Q: What are Bovanique Balms made with?
Our balms are handcrafted in small batches in Burnaby, BC using premium botanical ingredients including beeswax, plant-based oils, and therapeutic herbs. Every ingredient is sustainably sourced and carefully selected for its skin and wellness benefits.
Q: Are your products vegan?
Our balms contain beeswax, so they are not vegan — however they are cruelty-free and made with sustainably sourced ingredients. Our hair oils are plant-based.
Q: Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
We recommend performing a patch test before full use — apply a small amount to your inner wrist and wait 24 hours. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Consult your physician before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, or applying to children under 2.
Q: What is the shelf life of your products?
All balms and oils have a 12-18 month shelf life. Expiration dates are clearly marked on each jar and bottle. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Q: Are your products natural and free of harsh chemicals?
Yes! Our formulations are free of parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, and harsh chemicals. We believe in clean, plant-powered wellness.

Q: How do I use the hair oils?
Apply 3-5 drops to your scalp or hair, massage gently, and leave in. For best results use 2-3 times per week. The 30ml size is perfect for travel or trying a new oil, while the 60ml is ideal for regular use.
Q: Which hair oil is right for me?
Strength & Length is great for general nourishment and growth support. Scalp Soothe targets irritation and flakiness. Regrowth & Density focuses on thinning hair. Beard Elixir is formulated specifically for facial hair softness and conditioning.
Q: Can I use the hair oils daily?
Yes, though 2-3 times per week is typically sufficient for most hair types. Start with a small amount and adjust based on your hair's needs.
